ABANDONED. Like an I SPY book from the 80's

I read this book in the 80's in elementary school. There were pictures with questions/riddles around the pictures and along the borders. It was not as blatant as the I spy books. The answer to the riddles were found in the picture and the letters from those answers were clues to the answer to the riddle at the end of the book. It was a hard back book and large like the Ispy books. Any ideas? It's not the "Can You see what I See" books by Walter Wick or "Where's Waldo." Thanks!

My favorite in that genre was For Eagle Eyes Only, but I don't know if it was ever in hardback.
