Lila my theory is that all of this has to do with reincarnation. Mara brought it up to Noah in the second book but he kind of just waved it off. The chapters that had the past in them were kind of sketchy, maybe it was memories from her grandmother? Plus in the sneak peaks for the third book there was a part where the narrator says that only "sister and uncle" know her real name and everyone else knows the name she picked out for her doll. just a thought..

Blair I definitely do think there is something to this genetic memory thing. My theory would have ended at that if it hadnt been for the experiment stuff at the end. I was not expecting that. There's so many factors now that I cant even think of a theory that sums it all up. But I do think that a few of the ones with talents/powers (like Noah and Mara) were born with them and some of them were experimented on and given the gene (like Jude, which is why he is so buddy buddy with Dr Kells). Idk how Dr Kells knew about them but I think she is looking for something (maybe the ability to market some kind of thing to give ppl powers) which is why she is corraling them all into these Horizon programs and testing them with drugs and situations and stuff. And idk why but I think Noahs father has something to do with this. Doesn't he work in BioTech or something? That just cant be a coincidence.

A Book Reader Hey guys! I think you're onto something with the whole Noah's dad having something to do with it. I mean, with the recording meeting thing that we got a teaser of a few weeks ago, and how one of the Dr's name was blurred out, I have a hunch that it was supposed to say "Dr. Shaw" as in Noah's dad. With everything so crazy in this series, I really can't make more guesses than that. If I come up with more, I'll make another post.
Also, I was just wondering, the whole thing at the end of Evolution with a certain person's name having "deceased" next to it, how true do you think that is? Because after I finished, I just brushed it off, thinking it CANNOT POSSIBLY BE TRUE, but after reading on Michelle Hodkin's tumblr that the whole deceased thing would have originally happened at the beginning of Retribution, but either way, it would have happened, I am starting to have my doubts. And I am scared my doubts are going to be true and the "deceased" thing will become real. I really hope that doesn't happen. Anyways, what do y'all think?

chinami Before the genetic programming part was revealed, I used to think on the lines of reincarnation too. But now I am too confused. Also the mysterious door number and the memory dilemma and not to mention that gypsy guy and Noah's mom.I don't know what to guess. I hope Ms Hodkin ties all loose ends

Lila Well I definitely think Noah's dad has something to do with it. Also, I was looking more into the whole name thing (Mara isn't her real name) but what I did find interesting was I looked up the meaning of Amitra, which is Mara's middle name, and it said "enemy of the universe" thought that was interesting.

Mariana Gedia Even i have a feeling that Noah's dad got something to do with this. plus at one point i thought that the Mara granny could have twin sister, where Noah gets the old picture of Mara's granny and the compare the picture with the one at Mara's home.

Mariana Gedia Also, in Mara's file, under Contradiction "Sarin, orig. carrier;" is mentioned...and at the end of the of d book there is "(G1821 carrier, original)" mentioned after mara name.
Dr.kells tells Mara that she has a special..so it seems as if the "G1821 carrier" is the scientfic name for the gene.
and original could mean she has inherited her gene from her granny(Sarin), Where Jude and claire were artificailly induced in their early age.
and since mara's granny seem to have connections with Noah's mom, she could have also known the secrets of Noah's dad and somehow it would be related to her death

Blair Well all I know is this book needs to come out so I can find out if my precious Noah is dead. If he is I might throw the book out the window no matter how blasphemous I would otherwise think that would be.
