I had read half of the book and accidentally left it on an airplane.

This is a fictional story about a divorced dad with a young teen daughter and a younger son living with him. The daughter attends a party (dad doesn’t know she’s there) and participates in some sexual acts. The dad gets a call from another parent, telling him about the party, and he drives over to the house - and he ends up badly beating up the boy who lives at the house. The boy ends up losing his eye. The dad is unsure what will happen, the boys’s parents are pressing criminal and civil charges. The dad’s best friend, the mom of his daughter’s friend, is named Lily.

I’d love to finish this book if another has any leads on the title! I thought I remembered the word “catch” and/or “fall” in the title, but can’t seem to find it. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I didn’t realize the bump rule. Thanks for letting me know! The book is adult fiction. I borrowed it from a relative just a few weeks ago, but I’m not sure how old it is. She’s an avid reader of new novels, so I’d guess it was published within the past couple of years, but can’t guarantee that’s correct. I asked her, but of course she can’t remember the title, either.
