This discussion has peaked my interest and I want to read this book so badly but I have so many books on the go- I'm still working my way through outlander and my October tbr is ridiculous... But I am so tempted to join!!!!! Urgh.... I sometimes hate goodreads!

@Zulfiya and the others: Am really sorry but I doubt I will be able to read this book along with you. I have a few personal issues that I need to sort out at my end with regard to my daughter's health and handling a tough book like this right now is becoming increasingly impossible.

I tried my best to read as per schedule but I am taking far too long to cover a few measly pages because I am just not able to give it my full concentration.

I am also reading Fall of Giants with the group and handling both books, given my current situation is proving to be impossible.

I desperately wanted to read this one but looks like I won't be able to - at least not at present. However, I hope I can join in later, when things are more settled at my end.

I am really sorry and I hope you understand.

Have a fun reading and I will try and read and post and join when I can.

I will be continuing with Fall of Giants as I have already started reading it and hope to manage and finish one book, which is why I am bowing out of this one.

Just an update- I have retrieved the book from the library and will start my catching up process this weekend!

Is anyone listening to the book on Audible (and maybe also reading it)? If so, do you recommend it? Also, Audible has the complete unabridged version of 56 hours; and also 4 individual unabridged parts, which total to MORE than 56 hours - same narrator, same publisher. What's the difference, if any, do you know?
