T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 33 comments I may be jumping the gun. I'm not sure if this will automatically populate. This book has just gone live on Amazon for pre-order. If you need to, please ensure it gets uploaded onto Goodreads too. Thank you ever so muchly.

Please provide:
* Title = Regency Love - Reflections of a Young Lady
* Author(s) name(s) = TL Clark T.L. Clark
* ISBN (or ASIN) = B07W7LN7RL (ASIN)
* Publisher = Steamy Kettle Publishing
* Publication date = 27th August 2019 (on pre order now)
* Format = ebook
* Description =
Balls and parties are not all fun and frivolity…

Finding a husband on the marriage mart is a serious business. Lady Anne sets out with an unromantic heart, appreciating how narrow her field of choice is – dukes are not in abundance.

However, her heart is won over by charm and flattery. Can Lord Felsenworth prove himself worthy despite his lower rank of earl? Her papa, the Duke of Hesford, will take much persuasion.

During the course of the Season, other beaux step forwards. Some more agreeable than others. Lady Anne struggles between head and heart as she tries her best to obey family duty.

Choice is but an illusion.
This is Regency England, where fortunes are won and lost with alarming regularity. Who amongst the nobility has kept and who has squandered the family fortune?

Gossip and intrigue are rife amongst The Ton. Not all are honourable. And not all marriages are equal.

Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer fans will love the authenticity, Christi Caldwell ones will enjoy the naughty bits.

Step into Regency London and hear what Lady Anne truly thought of her situation.
The drawing room doors are opening for you.

NB Contains an attempted seduction and arousing scenes of marital duties
This book is a standalone Regency romance novel
May not be suitable for gently bred ladies

The book would probably have been imported automatically, but since the author name differs slightly on both sites (TL versus T.L.) it might have ended up on another profile and have had to be moved to yours.

It is Goodreads policy that all initials are standardized that way.

This is the Goodreads policy on author names containing initials: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 33 comments Haha, love how everyone's jumping on that. Didn't mean to start anything; just a flippant comment ;)
I appreciate it's grammatically correct. But in this ever-changing, modern world, the dots tend to get dropped e.g. in searches on the internet.
Honestly, I wasn't moaning. Thanks though.

I believe in the UK it is common not to use dots :)

I know they don't put it after Mr or Mrs but I don't think I've ever seen name initials that way.

T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 33 comments It's really not important. I was just curious. Flippant comment, pondering whether I'd put the dots in here on purpose but then not on Amazon for my own weird reasons which even I'm not aware of (happens!). Clearly not in this instance.

But yes, Lethe is correct. It's now common here in the UK not to use full stops between initials. Both ways are now acceptable. Certainly in the corporate world where I've worked for many years, they've now been dropped.

I cite: https://english.stackexchange.com/que...

Even the University of Oxford has a style guide which states only spaces should be used for initials in names. https://www.ox.ac.uk/sites/files/oxfo...

Goes off singing the tomato/'tomarto' song :)
Who says 'potarto'?? ;)
lalalala

T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 33 comments Ummmm...please can you help?
The page doesn't seem to be loading correctly. I've got some ARC reviews coming in.

At the top of the page it gives a star rating, stating x2 reviews.
But when you scroll down, there's x1 review which doesn't seem to be showing the whole thing, with no star rating. And no sign of the other one. I've waited overnight and checked across multiple devices, but it's still looking odd :-/

message 12: by lethe (new)

lethe | 16364 comments I see two reviews, they look normal to me.

(I don't even have to use the 'filter' option, which sometimes helps to show the latest ratings and reviews.)

If it still looks odd at your end, you will have to contact Support, because this has to do with site functionality.

Please do not post duplicate requests, and also please do not use all caps, it is the equivalent of shouting.

You have already added your book, so this is not an add request but another spam comment, and in a thread linked to another author.
