SOLVED. Historical romance forgotten book name. [s]

This book is a historical romance they were married in a marriage of convience sort of way.
He leaves whether its war or somewhere else I'm not quite sure when he comes back he finds out his mistress has hooked up with his father and in that time they had a child., He tracks down where the baby is. finds he is at a childrens home and I remember he said they had the baby loocked in a cupboard because he cried so much he summons his wife to his townhouse and has her help look after the baby. the babys name is Anthony that's as much as I can remember, his father also had spys in his house, the housekeeper was on ekeeping tabs on the the hero for the father.
