Ohh girls! I can't with this anymore so, sorry, I have to throw all this from my heart! Yeah, is very probable that Aelin is inmortal. Always always in HoF, Sarah wrote "her inmortal fae body" so, yes. If not, Rowan will give up to his inmortality. He loves her that much.
In QoS Rowan said that, since the first time he saw Aelin, she represented challenge for him. An uproar of emotions that made him go insane, so, first he "hated" her for that. This, plus the fact that Lyria was all sweet and lovely and calmed and girly makes me understand what Rowan said Aelin in the end of QoS. Even if he never knew, he had been always looking for her. Perhaps, the love Rowan feels for her goes further than the love he felt for Lyria. Lyria gives me the feels of a person too good to someday makes you feel confortable. Aelin is a challenge, the girl that will not accept everything he says like the truth, no, she is powerful and fierce, and she will never make him feel bad for his own wicked powers, no, she will push him to be better than the person he was the day before. And girls, we like the calm of a quiet see, but we feel fiercely alive during with a burning sun!
This is Rowan x Aelin. Sometimes adorable sometimes sweet. Always fierce and powerful and breath taking and full of life love

I wasn't sure because Celaena kept stressing to herself that she just wasn't looking at Rowan that way, even though she acknowledged her attraction to him. I think Heir of Fire was her getting over Chaol and QoS was just.....Amazing. I didn't even KNOW I wanted Rowlin that badly until it happened! xD

And yeesss....looking back I definitely can see the hints. But Queen of Shadows was like "BAM! ROMANCE AND IT'S INCREDIBLE!"
Yeah. In HoF in all the scenes between this two, I was like "coff coff... DENIAL!" And in QoS, after reading the first chapter in Rowan's PoV, i was like "DENIAL IS GONEEEE" And then, I remembered that once I post on Pinterest that, What would Rowan say about a certain sexy dress on Aelin's body? And when she used the dragon dress I was laughting like hell! Perhaps he likes naked girls, but there's no a single guy in this damn planet and beyond that could resist sexy female clothes... Beatiful lengerie is and will always be their weakness.

Well the Nightgowns were fairly skimpy and revealing. So I would assume it's very close to Lingerie ;)

I'm really disappointed in sarah j maas. she's so pretentious, i knew she would put these together she fan girls over Rowan so much kind of pathetic tbh. it would of been so much better if their relationship remained platonic. but no Sarah's wet dream character that is Rowan had to end up with Aelin. I'm no Chaoleana shipper. but this Rowan and Aelin relationship in qos was so forced made me sick came out of no where. they didnt have feelings for each other in hof and bam they do in this book and funny how she forced Chaol with someone else but i'm glad for him he deserved someone who's not going to hate on him for a mistake he made Aelin is such a boring self-righteous little shit. i dont get why people like her she's to perfect and overpowered. coudln't stand how she treated Chaol most of the book. he made his mistakes in the other book but everyone does make stupid mistakes but the hate towards him was so uncalled for. why couldnt she frigging drop it and then towards the end actually talks to him about moving on and not looking back at the past what a contradiction she is. poor Chaol was hating on himself for nothing the guys a good person an honorable person and has never done anything out of malice sure hes messed up but to say she could never forgive him jesus christ what murder did he commit hes on her side get over it seriously Aelin can get lost how many innocents has she killed? she acts like a selfless heroic person she's far from it. a selfish, petty bully that is what Aelin is and there not really much to say about Rowan he's simply a boring pretentious character to much tell and no show like most of the fae club.

And then from spending so long apart from him, she realised she actually did love him. Then when he came back, Rowan realised how much he wanted her, NEEDED her.

If you don't fall in love with your own characters, then why write about them? I write all the time, and I obsess over my characters. Why obsess over actors when you can't really date them? Why obsess over book characters when they're a figment of our imagination and the authors? Why not, though? I'm trying to write a book, and I have fallen in love with my characters because they're mine and I created them. It's like they're your child I'm sure Sarah feels that way about her own creation with Rowan and everyone.
Agree Jessica. Am I the only one that (avoiding the subjetive things like how damn great is Rowan) this guy was the logical option??? Dorian and Aelin couldn't be together at least she could overcome the fact that he's the son of the man that killed her parents. But they remind friends and is awsome.
Chaol was always alwayd always more linked to Dorian that anybody else. He would have never ever put Aelin before Dorian.
Sam was my option but, damn it, he died!
For me, in the end of CoM, Rowan was the step by step option. Like a romance that grows little by little and that's pretty cool.
Perhaps Sarah loves Rowan, but for me, her only love has always been Aelin

But I don't know if I'm insane, if I've read to much or just if I'm a cold minded person but I can't understand whats wrong according with the characters according with some of the PoV posted here u.uFor me every damn character here has logical, very logical reactions! That's what I've always like the series. The plot, the pairings, the choices, everything follow a logical line for me. This relationship and some others are obvious and well thought choices but, yeah, everybody has a PoV.
Pd: I'm not judging Aelin for looking so much to the awsome bodies of the males in the series. She said before that Sam's back was beutiful, that Chaol fits really good his pants and that Rowan has very sexy abbs. Like a person that loves painting, I always fall in this kind of details and, tbh, I'm even worse.
Pd2: Whoever.... Whoever that comes and says that a male is not visual, that they never looks female bodies (back, mainly), and that they dislike sexy clothes, could be very well in the biggest lie of their lifes! Really, guys ALWAYS do this. Is not bad, and this doesn't mean that they're terrible persons or that they don't love their girls, is just part of them, nature I guess

I agree Noris. I mean, any of the guys can perfectly be a magazine model just by looks because they are really hot looking. And I have no issues with that either :)
I agree that as a writer you do grow to like some of the characters you create. I've made up a lot of novels and have many favourite characters, some more than others, it's inevitable its just your feelings coming through. I respect how Rowan must be Sarah's favourite character obviously, but then again I do agree with the other side, you don't have to obsess over the character and how it to the public. Just stick to the story. Have your favourite characters stay in your mind and maybe just say it in an interview if you're asked. But you don't have to obsess. Remember, there are other characters, and people love them as well, some more so than that one character, don't discard them they are just as important.

I know Booknut usually gets in there when she can. But they've just melded all of Sarah's stories together in one forum, and with the new book that came out, it'll take a while to attend to the issues. My advice is to just ignore those commentators who are bothering you by way of their opinions and conversations. There are so many other people who won't piss us off in anyone post that it has been something easy and healthier to do. Don't let them spoil it for you.

Yes I agree. And it's not that we are attacking Sarah. I myself never said that Sarah was creepy. And people don't have to go attack others for what they say.
