I read this book back in 2006 (I was too young tbh) and the main guy was a vampire and the main girl was human but I think had something special about her. There was someone after them. I want to say his name was Raphael or something macho like that. I can’t remember a lot of details since it was such a long time ago. I want to say her name was possibly Jessie and the story might have involved shapeshifting. One scene I remember is her being encased in ice I think? Sorry it’s not a lot to go on.
