ABANDONED. Need help remembering a children's chapter book series

From what I remember I had two of the books in this series. It was about a girl who had either angels or fairies that called on her to help with an issue somewhere in the world. One book she was searching an emerald or green pearl? And the pearl ended up not being an actual pearl. For some reason the name lulu keeps popping up in my head so maybe that was her name or the name of a girl she was helping?
I've search Google for every keyword I can think of and I really want to read them to my daughter.

possibly Lulu the Lifeguard Fairy? This is one of a large series, all different fairies that need to find special objects that have been stolen. There are two human girls that help them.
