I thought I joined back in January but I can't find me! I have a question: what about partly read books? I just got halfway through a 400 page book but it was so hard to keep slogging away. Does it count? Or only ones we completely finish?

Welcome! IMO, if Goodreads counts it, which you have to have a completed date to count, then it counts! You can add it to your list as a "DNF - Did Not Finish", we do that. :)

I would say, count your books however you want. It's a personal challenge, so it's really up to you. Personally, I only count new books that I read all the way through; I keep track of DNF's and re-reads, but I don't count them toward my total. But I know other people count their books differently. It's really up to you.

(Though if you're using the official GR challenge widget, then you do need an end-date for it to count. But as far as the group goes, we don't really have any set rules.)

Thanks, Charleen. I tried to read this one all the way through, but it just wasn't quite interesting enough. Most people would have quit by page 50. I got up to 200 when I stopped.
