I think the title of this book has something to do with time or tick or clock or something. At the beginning of the book there is a group of boys in a neighborhood walking on the sidewalk or something. A boy lives or works, I can't remember, in this building and all these boys have their own cubicle things, It's kind of techy in the building. The main character gets tired of his monotonous life and things he does there and tries to escape. Towards the end of the book the boy escapes in a helicopter on top of the roof.

I'm pretty sure the boy was teenage age. It probably was fantasy or dystopia.
