I had fun playing the guessing game. Cheers to all of those who got the 'Queen' part. It seems so obvious now doesn't it?! I don't remember who said Throne, Crown, Heir, and now Queen but nice tie in!
I like the monochromatic color ideas you are throwing out there! Shadow-y, black and white... Maybe one small splash of color? A piercing eye with color, or one lit flame somewhere...?
Idk

Because Lorcan was in HoF LOL

But anyway, Lorcan was in HoF??

Lorcan came with the cadre to help rowan!!!!! I completely forgot about this!!!

Oh, yeah, I remember now!

I think ToG is one of the very few series where the romance adapts to the plot-lines, and not the other way around. Like, the main focus of the book isn't on C/A's relationship. We only feel like it is because we're too busy shipping her with the super-hot guys XD

I think CoM did it really well though, since she only had the one love interest, and it was actually key to her character development, but didn't stick out like a sore thumb and melded together nicely.
HoF was just stupid with romance because Dorain and Sorscha was just to boring, and Rowan was an utterly detestable character.
There we are, the completely 'swoon-worthy' romance where the only thing I'll be swooning from is it's terrible execution

Agreed :) We all know it's good that the series focuses more on the story/plot than the romance.
