Brandon Eugene Bolhuis | 4 comments i know that it's ... well, unusual would be putting it mildly, and it's the best word i can fit here ... i know that it's unusual for a heterosexual male to join in feminist discussion unless he's doing so just to endear himself to the other participants. i am 35 years old, am the only boy of my parents' litter, and for 24 years i've endured a unique experience of feminism and of sexism from women, mainly from the business end. i hope that i'll be welcome here, and i'd like to suggest the book Any Man by Amber Tamblyn [my favorite poet, author, and director]; i fear that feminism, as it is today, blinds women to the hardships that are shared by some men.
