"In sure there there are others. Goodbye Lori." He turned and walked to Smiler's stall.

He ended up getting drunk and forgetting everything, having a good time singing songs, holding a girl against him.
((OK))Marcus, though now he was called will, walked through the village carrying his Axe. He came upon a sign that announced a dueling tourney for the hand of the princess. He smiled bitterly and kept going. Will entered the tavern, setting his Axe against the wall by the door and sat on a barstool. "You boys see that contest?" He asked his friends Clay and John. John's chest puffed out. "Of course I am. I'm the best swordsman around." Clay chuckled. "You know that's not true. I watched will practice the other day and he looked like a noble. You're going to join aren't ya Will?" He shook his head. "Nah." His friends smiled. "We're gonna make ya." After a few minutes he agreed to enter the tourney.
A week later, Will rode up with John and clay to the arena. "This us going be fun," John stated. Will shook his head. "It's gonna be great, not fun." They went to the administrator and checked in, sprawling on their packs afterwards. Marcus, mindful that he could be recognized, had grown a full beard.
Marcus rode a different horse having left smiler at home. He was informed that the fights would first be fought in groups of ten then get smaller as the fighters were eliminated.
He shrugged. "My friends made me come so I decided why not? Of course, I'm a bit better than most at swordsmanship."
Marcus spins his sword expertly and watches her stance. Realizing that she is by far his inferior. He decides not to destroy her, and make it close.
He chuckled and stepped it up a notch, knocking the sword from her hand. "An average knight maybe," he says, the point if his sword at her throat.
He sighed. "I know. I realized the day after I did everything that my feelings hadn't changed, only then it was too late."
