Through the Dark. It's a hardcover copy with all three E-books.

Yes. So is the third novella only available if you get Through the Dark? Or can you get it on its own as an ebook?
I believe it's only available through 'Through the Dark'
I wish it was just one ebook, but now i guess ill have two of 1.5 and 2.5
Damn that kinda sucks. Cuz I've already bought In Time and Sparks Rise by themselves. Through The Dark has all the stories so it would kind of be a waste of money. Unless it's like, less then $10 I suppose, that would be okay.
There's a possibility that I could be wrong on that, though.

Today u brought in the after light to school. I cried in my first three classes....im not even passes the third chapter

Same. I've been learning French for two years now, and hearing about that makes me upset because I always hear so many great things about France and French culture.

so Amanda Stenberg has been cast to play Ruby. what are everyone's thoughts
Just looked up Amanda stenberg and she is not what I imagined ruby to look like. She might be okay for the first movie but when she has to harden her feelings I can't she Amanda doing that very well.
I'm actually pretty excited with Amandla Stenberg! I like to see diversity and with an amazing actress, it's just the best. I'm glad the team kept their promise.
I personally am not that excited for her to be the face of Ruby. she doesn't exactly look the part. I mean I think she'll do a great job of acting, but I don't think it will be the same without the right look
I'm not thrilled with her ether. One of the things I liked about the books is that they're naturally diverse, it never seems forced, the characters just are who they are. I'd like an attempt to get a cast who loosk how the characters are described. There's something else though. I've been telling people for a while, that the cast should be young. You know how just about every teenager you see on screen is well into their 20s, so much so, that when you see an actual teenager, you don't believe them. Well the Darkest Minds needs really young actors, so that you get the proper shock of how they're treated, so that when you see Liam going into the waffle house you freak because there's no way they won't guess, so that you feel protective. Now Stenberg is younger than most, but still kinda old, and looks more mature than she is. By the time they're making the last movie, she'll be at least 5 years older than her character, and at an age where 5 years counts.
I completely agree, I think people who haven't read he book won't understand the movie and the fears that the character have if they don't look the part.
so what does everyone think about Harris Dickinson as our boy Liam. I personally am kinda meh about it. he doesn't exactly look like Liam but he does look more like Liam than Amandla looks like Ruby

I think he's at least 25, too old, already made my case for why that's a problem. He's British, so I'm dreading his approximation of a Southern accent. There's something else about having a Brit playing him. Now the British train some fine actors, this is not a criticism of their acting abilities. There's a difference though, in movement in how they take up space. Australians are often very good at playing Americans, there's the same or similar boddy language. Back to the accent though it's a rare thing to find an American who can do a passable Yorkshire accent and the same goes for and Englishman doing a Southern one, they're highly localized. Most people from other parts of the States do poor job of it, imitating imitations. There are exceptions Michael Caine did an incredible job playing a Texan. By and large though, it is not good.
Okay, now the girl they got for Zu looks perfect.
I completely agree with your reasoning. I just think they should have put more effort in casting
So, I think the casting was great but I really hope ZU doesn’t talk. I think she will still have a full head of hair for the movie( which is fine I guess) but if she talks in the movie I will flip.
