I gotta say . . . I've always felt Chris Hemsworth was BORN to be Curran. Nice that the author agrees with me. :D

For some reason, when I read this book the first time, I mistakenly thought Kate was a redhead. So to me, she's always been Amanda Righetti from the Mentalist.

I like Stephanie Leonidas (Irisa from Syfy's Defiance) for Kate. She gets to be all kick arse on Defiance, but you know men would melt at her smile. Plus her face is so interesting -- beautiful yet different.

Now Curran, he has to be cool, sexy, funny, arrogant but also feel really old at times. I could see Ryan Gosling pulling it off as an acting challenge.

When I first saw the book cover out of the corner of my eye the illustration on the front sort of looked like Amber Benson. And even though when you looked at it properly it didn't really look like her, I still pictured Amber for most of the book.

Updating to add that the picture on the cover of my edition was completely different from the picture on the cover that is shown here on Goodreads.
