I remember parts of a book, there was one part where the parent locks the son (?) underground because he is bad(killer). Child was locked in an underground kinda bunker where he killed animals.

Perhaps Lisey's Story by Stephen King? IIRC, Paul (the older brother of Scott, the protagonist) hasn't actually killed anyone, but his father can tell it is only a matter of time, and chains him up to a post in the cellar.
