Sasscer Hill (hillerroo) | 7 comments Author Sasscer Hill was involved in horse racing as an amateur jockey and racehorse breeder for most of her life. She sets her novels against a background of big money, gambling, and horse racing, and her mystery and suspense thrillers have received multiple award nominations.

Her first book in her "Nikki Latrelle" series, FULL MORTALITY, was a finalist for both Agatha and Macavity Best First Book Awards. RACING FROM DEATH was a finalist for the Dr. Tony Ryan Best in Racing Literature award.

Lee Sherred (leesherredauthor) | 36 comments Hi guys, never sure what to write about myself so I'll just post my author bio:

Author Lee Sherred has led a full life that, in many ways, rivals those of the heroes and anti-heroes he creates. A skilled martial artist, fighter, British Soldier and Police Officer, Lee has amassed a wealth of knowledge in many areas.

A lifelong reader, Lee knew long ago that he’d one day pen his own novels. After a long career serving his country, a significant injury left him with unexpected and unwanted downtime. For the first time in his life he finally found the motivation to put pen to paper, turning his firsthand experiences into absorbingly dark and humorous stories that readers will love.

When not writing, Lee can be found at his home on the South Coast of England, enjoying family time with his wife, kids and a trio of unruly family pets.

Thanks

Lee

Martin Freznell Hello! My name is Martin Freznell.

I've worked as a development helper (Congo, Philippines, Palestine), librarian, factory worker, teacher, stage technician and bartender.

I'm also the world's worst bassist.

I'm pretty terrible at everything I've done so far. That's why I decided to start writing. I always wanted to, but never quite did.

I've published my first book, a satire 'Not Exactly Shakespeare' and I am currently working on the second book, a thriller of sorts, 'Four Men and the Sea'.

P.K. Davies | 549 comments Welcome Martin. Please don't walk onto the scaffold just yet. You don't know you're the world's worst bassist; you've just heard better ones. And for every bassist you think there are there are millions of people who have never played even a comb and paper. Writing is not a 'last throw'. It requires more endeavour and concentration than anything else you've done. Just do it and do it well

Kevin Chilvers (kevinchilversauthor) | 26 comments I live near the south coast of England, am married with two grown up children, and spending my retirement writing on a yacht cruising the Mediterranean.

I love reading fast-paced crime action thrillers and mysteries where I can lose myself in the story, and this is what I write. My ambition is to be traditionally published and this year (2016), I took James Patterson's Master Class in writing, and have written my second novel, An Evil Trade. The MS is currently in the final editing stages.
I'd like to engage with writers and readers who also love this genre.

T.F. Lince Trev Lince originates from Marske-by-the-Sea on the North East coast of England, but now lives in Darlington with his wife, Claire.

Their daughter, Annie, is a very good guitarist and is setting up a band, playing every pub in the North East that she can. She’s so rock and roll, living the dream while her father is approaching his mid-life crisis.

A keen golfer and frustrated Middlesbrough FC fan, Trev gets to as many matches as work and leisure time allow. He writes in what little spare time he has, when not working as a IT Consultant for a major oil company in Surrey.

Room 119 – The Whitby Trader is Trev’s first book and he really enjoyed the experience of writing it. Who knows? He may have a few more stories bursting to get out of his head.

He would like to thank you for reading his debut novel.

Daniel Kemp (goodreadscomdanielkemp) | 5275 comments A Short Hello

I'm an ex-police officer once arrested for attempted murder. My father worked for the War Department and that's where my interest in the intelligence services started to grow.

My first novel was published in 2012, becoming quite a success within a short time. I mainly write espionage and murder novels, but I love to stretch my ability into other genres. At sixty-eight, I think my days of adventure are finished as my days of writing take over.

Dana Mansfield | 3 comments Hi! I'm a new author to this group. I have 5 books published (1 self, 4 through publishers). 3 of my books are part of a psychological thriller trilogy. You can read the first chapter of each on my website under Deceptions at http://www.danamansfield.com.

I'm looking for new readers for my trilogy and for people to give the whole story a chance. Because the trilogy did not come out at the same time (all three books are out now), I felt I was given some unfair reviews because the first book left off with a cliffhanger. I just feel if some readers went into the trilogy with an open mind, they would be experiencing a deep story of suspense, greed, but most importantly, the importance of living through a nightmare with someone close. I hope you will give me that chance.

Anyway, here's my bio from my website. If you take the chance on me, I give you a very heartfelt thank you!

About Me
I was born, raised, and still live in northwest Iowa. I enjoy the intricacy and problem solving of creating stories and thankful to have achieved remission from leukemia to have the chance to see my literary dreams come to fruition. I teach reading to at-risk high school students and spend my time writing and watching Agents of Shield, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Sherlock, The Good Doctor, Project Runway and probably too much Netflix. I am an overprotective mom to my two cats, Boots and Joey.

My interests are varied. An Iowa Hawkeye football fan and longtime NASCAR fan, I hope to one day experience a perfect fall football day at Kinnick Stadium (with a magical win over Michigan, Iowa State, or Nebraska) and the Daytona 500. I could get lost for days at Walt Disney World or a good book. Bucket list items would be to write for television, re-envision my first favorite television show (The Pretender), meet the cast of my second favorite television show (Arrow), and create a storyline for a music video for my favorite band (Daughtry). ROCK ON!
Dana Mansfield

Urcelia Teixeira (urcelia_teixeira) Hi all,

I am an emerging Selfpub author in Mystery Adventure Fiction who believes BigFoot is real and Elvis is still alive.

My inspiration for my novels emanate from my keen interest in all things mysterious. From vanished civilizations, ancient relics, and lost treasures to UFO’s, conspiracy theories and even Ghosts.

I’ve just released my 3rd book, which I’ll promote under the “promote book” thread, and managed to thrash out my first 1500 words of my next novel before I ring in the new year!

Hope to learn a lot from fellow authors and readers. :-)
