Hi everyone,My name is Angelo Marcos.

Not really sure how long this bio should be, so I guess I’ll make it quick so as to reduce the risk of boring everyone.
I am a graduate of both law and psychology, and had originally planned to go into forensic psychology but, well, let’s just say life kind of got in the way of that one… ;-)
As well as being an author, I am also a stand up comedian and actor. I love performing and the creative freedom that it gives, especially stand up where you can basically talk about whatever you want (as long as its funny... ahem...)
My experiences in comedy and acting heavily influenced my crime thriller The Artist which focuses on the relentless pursuit of fame at all costs (very literally at all costs…) The current novel I am writing – my third – also follows a similar theme in a way, and is about a comedian/actor who visits a notorious criminal in order to research a role he is due to play. Things - of course - do not go as planned, and he gets much more than he bargained for.
I also suffer from something called sleep paralysis - which is bad - but which has given me great material to use for my second thriller Sleep No More – which is good. (If you haven’t heard of sleep paralysis, google it, it’s genuinely weird.)

Hi Fellow Thriller Lovers. I work by day as a hydrogeologist with an environmental consulting firm in Boulder, Colo., and by night as a writer of historical and modern suspense novels. I have a deep and abiding interest in military history and intelligence, specifically related to the Plains Indian Wars, World War II, and the current War on Terror. My current and forthcoming titles in 2015 and 2016 revolve around these subjects and include: (1) my debut novel and the first book in the Nick Lassiter international espionage series, "The Slush Pile Brigade" (Sept. 15), as well as the follow-up to this novel and the second book in the series, "The Fourth Pularchek"; (2) two books in my Joe Higheagle environmental sleuth series ("Blind Thrust" [coming Oct. 6] and "The Cluster"); and (3) three standalone espionage novels, including the modern political thriller "The Coalition", and two World War II spy-action adventure thrillers ("Bodyguard of Deception" and "Roman Moon"). In addition to my suspense novels, I am the author of numerous peer-reviewed professional papers and book chapters on groundwater contaminant fate and transport and environmental remediation. My second forthcoming novel, "Blind Thrust" (October 6, 2015), the first book in the Joe Higheagle Series, was inspired based on my experiences in California and Texas as a Registered Professional Geologist in assessing earthquake hazards and fault classifications on behalf of various real-estate developers in environmental site assessments. My forthcoming novel, "The Cluster"(July 2016), the second book in the Joe Higheagle series, is based on my experience working on the Rosamond cancer cluster case in Southern California. So glad to find this group! I read thrillers and mysteries and many other kinds of books. Voraciously. And I love to write. In fact, I will probably be writing on my death bed. I have several published mysteries and lots of short stories, some of which are featured in a couple of my anthologies. My third mystery/thriller in a series will be coming out this fall. Shawn Lealos - I have been a journalist for 15 years, in both sports journalism and as a film critic. I just published my first book this year, a non-fiction novel about filmmakers who got their start thanks to Stephen King. I am now starting to work on my first fiction novel series, but before I start the first book, I am submersing myself in as many mystery novels as I can - mainly first appearance novels - just to get my feet wet in mystery and thriller novels again after so many years in film.

I'm a Maryland attorney and author, who got my start writing magazine pulp fiction while in law school.
My first novel was published the same summer as John Grisham's The Firm, and I had my first book signing at a Waldenbooks with a little card table set up in the shadows of stacks of Grisham's soon-to-be-classic bestseller. It was an early reality check.
A couple decades and 11 novels later, my lifetime sales might not equal a good week for any Grisham title, but I still look forward to every moment I spend writing.
My novels are mostly crime noir, including City Lies, but also include the lighthearted Ocean City Mystery series, the latest title in which is Big Blow. And my first modern romance, The Builder, was released in January 2015.
My latest novel, HER HONOR, is currently under consideration in Amazon.com's Kindle Scout Program.

I'm a retired TV and Radio newsman and served in the US Army during Vietnam. My first novel 'When Saigon Surrendered' deals with the 1970s, it is primarily a historical mystery but several readers say they felt the action and suspense was quite thrilling. I am working on a sequel now, set in Kentucky in the 1980's. I do a great deal of research before writing in earnest and am in that phase now. Hi, I'm Chris Stookey. For my day job, I'm an emergency physician, but I've been a book lover and avid reader all my life, ever since I discovered the Hardy Boy mystery books when I was 7-years-old. I started writing stories of my own in my teens, embarrassingly bad tales of teenage angst and pimpled juvenile idealism. My medical career took me temporarily away from writing. However, over the past five years, I've returned to my earlier passion, and I've written two novels, both medical mystery/thrillers: Terminal Care and Where Death Is a Hunter. The novels are published by the Massachusetts-based press, Silver Leaf Books. I have a four-book contract with SLB. Two down, two to go.

Hi. I'm Robin Burcell, retired police officer, current writer. My 11th novel is just out, THE LAST GOOD PLACE, which continues the late Carolyn Weston's 1970s mysteries (which were the basis for the TV show THE STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO back in the 70s). I've rebooted and updated the series. My last book, THE KILL ORDER, was named as one of Library Journal's Best Thrillers of 2014.
Currently I'm cowriting a book with Clive Cussler in the Fargo series -- due out September 2016. Oh, and I live in Northern California with my husband and two dogs. (Kids are away at college, so sort of the empty nest!)

Hi, I'm G.W. Eccles and Peach Publishing has just released the second in my Leksin thriller series Corruption of PowerI lived for many years in Moscow and Central Asia travelling extensively throughout Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan - often to places with restricted access to foreigners. During my time there, I advised a number of real-life oligarchs how best to take advantage of the opportunities that became available as regulation crumbled and government became increasingly corrupt. Not surprisingly, therefore, while my novels are fiction, many of the anecdotes and scenes are inspired by actual events.
I now live with my wife - and a cat called Lenin and a bulldog puppy called Boris - in a hilltop village in the South of France.

Hi everyone! I'm Alex Lettau and am delighted to join the group as an author and avid reader of thrillers. Because I've been a doctor specializing in infectious disease (ID) for over 30 years and early in my career was an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officer at the CDC, I write infectious disease thrillers. 0ne is out - "Yellow Death" - with 2 more in the works hopefully out by the end of this year. ID is great stuff to write about as the microbes can be deadly, the disease investigation of how someone got the infection often has all the mystery elements of a good detective story, and there is almost an endless variety of stories to tell. One sub-genre I don't do is zombie virus: guy gets mauled and killed by zombies and maybe 20 or 30 seconds later stirs and arises from the dead to stagger off seeking another human victim. There's no mystery- he has zombie virus! Anyway, I look forward to participating in the group discussions.

Hi, gang. I’m hooked on thrillers and I’ve been that way for most of my life. It’s great to join a team of likeminded people. A little about myself…I live in Central Florida and I’m a father of three and grandfather of two. Before I decided to pen my first piece of professional writing, I’d worked over twenty years as an information technology professional. While on active duty in the US Navy, an instructor removed the cover off of one of the computing systems in our lab, and I noticed the tiny CPU chips, the brains of the machines were all manufactured offshore somewhere. This made me nervous and led me to question the feasibility of rogue logic being manufactured inside the computer hardware itself, which could be detonated at a predetermined time, incapacitating our defense capabilities. After many data breaches worldwide and unable to contain myself any longer, I decided to start crafting thrillers in the fashion that I love, delving into the world in which highly intelligent people have decided to use their technology smarts to wreak havoc on the world.

Hi. My name is David Kummer. I'm an author that's only in high school and so I'm still learning and growing (I'm not Caillou, so sorry if that sounded like it. If I was Caillou, I'd tell you for sure.) and figuring out how to become a better author.I live in Madison, Indiana, which is a small town on the Ohio River. There's lots of history and creepy places, which probably have influenced my writings. In my book SHE, most of the places and buildings are based off similar settings here in my home town, although I've changed them so that you wouldn't know really if I didn't tell you. Plus, my hometown is quite boring. Writing kind of lets me escape from that.

I turned to writing fiction in 2013. I had written non-fiction for quite sometime. I enrolled in a creative writing course and had the good fortune to have prolific author Margaret James for a tutor! Needless to say my first novel while being mainly a sports thriller did have romantic elements. My latest series is mystery/historical fiction. Raymond Armstrong is a retired MI6 operative that seems to get caught up in mystery/espionage on a regular basis. The second in the series after The Whisky Affair is The Shackleton Affair. I have to say this is my personal favourite where I successfully take an historic event and make it relevant to present time. I have always been inspired by Steve Berry who is a master in the history/mystery/suspense genre.

Hi, I'm a Penguin Random House author with a thriller coming out in June. The difference in my work is that it is nonfiction. Yes, it has the pace of a Vince Flynn novel and cliffhangers, but it's all true. Maybe think of David McCullough meets Ian Fleming. Hi all, I have many friends over here who are also screenwriters...I'm also in that mould and have been behind the camera on set for many years. I am editing my first novel LOUISIANA BLOOD, which is funding on Inkshares at the moment so am pretty new to the machinations of the publishing world. Louisiana Blood is a mystery thriller that re-imagines the whole Jack The Ripper conspiracy, so I hope that's the sort of thing that might interest this group? I will try and find the right places on the site to show the genesis of the idea, promote it and learn from the body of wisdom in the group without coming across as a fly by night spammer :) Please feel free to show me the door...to a new career!

Am currently working as a senior broadcast producer and freelance journalist in Islamabad, Pakistan. All non-fiction / journalistic work comprises of socio-political and security-related issues.
A year ago, instead of waiting for agents and publishers to call back and reject, I went ahead and published my second piece of fiction as debut novel The Governess which is a historical inspirational read and this July released Catharsis in psychological thriller / suspense genre.
Paperbacks of both are on Amazon and BN.
