I really disliked this book. I thought the flashback scenes were poorly done and added at strange points. I would have enjoyed reading this book a lot more if all the flashbacks were deleted. I feel this entire book should have been shortened and turned into a novella. I also disliked the fact that Juliet wanted to be called Ella after 5 books of her being Juliet. I also don’t understand why she would want to go back to a name given to her by her psycho parents. The only point where I didn’t feel bored was towards the end when Warner and Ella reunited (even though that was not they way I would have seen either of them reacting) I liked the Kenji scene when Warner was going to propose and Kenji stepped in and told Warner he was being an idiot (which he was). I’m glad that they’re back together though and that he did eventually propose. I’m kind of excited to see what a wedding planned by Warner will look like.
I really liked all the plot twists and I loved the ending, though I agree with Chlorine about the flashbacks (I didn’t pay much attention to them). I thought the birthday party at the end was so sweet, and the proposal was amazing! I will read the next one.
I personally enjoyed the flashbacks. I loved seeing how they were in the past and how they are now and it really helped me understand more about the characters.
