Speaking of that scene at the courthouse, did it have you on the edge of your seat? Were there any others you found interesting or exciting?

Absolutely, the courthouse scene was amazing.

It was riveting! I literally could not put the book down. And, I thought the efforts of Taya’s US Marshal Duncan were powerfully described. And to have her actually save him was just perfect.

That scene saved the book fo me. Up until then I was bored.

It was so exciting. I was listening to the audio book and I was so in to what was happening, I couldn't do anything else. I agree, Laura. That scene definitely increased my rating for this book.
