Courtney Lee I absolutely LOVED this book. Its now one of my top 5 books of this year - possibly number one.

What did you think of the new characters Aedian, Manon, Rowen, Abraxos and Sorshca?

And what were your favorite parts of the book? Mine was every scene that Rowen was in. After what happened to Nehemia, he is now I new favorite character.

And also, does EVERYONE hate the relationship between Sorshca and Dorian? Everyone that I know that has read the book has hated Sorshca. I didnt. I loved their relationship and Im wondering why people hate it.

Anyway, share your thoughts on this book and lets discuss.

Anum I love this book so much ....Sarah J Maas is an amazing writer ..

Speaking of new characters i really love Rowan throughout the whole book.. i ship him and Celeana...

I agree with everything Courtney is saying..but i liked Sorscha and Dorians relationship eventhough it was short .i mean he was finally happy with someone and then the king just had to kill her:(

I felt bad for Chaol and Aedion at the end as they were unable to meet Celeana when she returns..

Im really excited for the encounter of Arobynn and Celeana in the upcoming book!!

Yeah, I felt so sorry for Aedion. Im also really scared now for him and Dorian. I really hope that Chaol and Celaena find each other really soon and that they work together to both save them and to get the wyrdkey from Arobynn. Im so excited for that.

Also, I really hope that Rowen comes to Adarlan soon to help Celaena. I so ship their friendship too. Im so glad that their relationship is nothing romantic. I was scared there for a few moments. And I love how sweet they are and how they care for each other. It's one of the most beautiful friendships' that I've had the pleasure of reading

Anji Cooper I finally got caught up on this book series, and wow this book was amazing. I'm not sure why everyone is obsessed with Rowan, I like him, but I don't love him. I definitely don't want a relationship between him and Celeana, but I like their friendship together.
I LOVED Aedion, he better live. Especially long enough to see Aelin/Celeana again. It was just heart touching how devoted and loyal he was to her, you don't see that type of loyalty shown like that a lot. Aedion is defiantly my second favorite character in this series, placing behind Sam, yeah, Sam Cortland. He's not dead. What? I'm not in denial or anything...
I for one didn't really like Sorscha, like I'm glad Dorian got to be happy even for that short period of time but Sorscha just seemed like she was hastily added in and then hastily taken out, and their relationship together seemed to instalove for my liking.
Yeah, I am worried for Dorian and Aedion in the next book and I really hope Chaol and Celeana will meet up and save them. AND get that collar off Dorian. Ahh! I can't wait to see Celeana confront Arobynn. I want to see her cut him to pieces like he had Sam killed. -_- he deserves it, Sam was, no wait I mean is, Sam isn't dead.... (denial.....) amazing and lovable and cute and sweet! I really miss Sam.
My favorite scene would have to have been when Aedion found out Aelin lived, it was just so heart touching and we really got to see into Aedion's mind, I loved it.
I didn't particularly like the Manon chapters, it was a completely different new character and I found myself wanting to get over her chapters quickly, I think that would've been better off as a novella since, yeah it is interesting, but with everything else going on in Heir of Fire, it didn't seem quite as interesting.

Janice Love love LOVE this book! I know there are others with other opinions, but this book, to ME, was start-to-finish perfection. Its like Lord of the Rings for chicks and it was so perfectly written! Having said that, I kinda wished she got romantically involved with Rowan. He understands her better than anyone and I can't get past that Chaol was basically scared and prejudiced toward her once he found out she was fae. And I can't get out of my head that she had to save HIM on occasion, eventhough she's bad ass. Sooo not manly! Now Rowan on the other hand....yummy! I can't wait to see how it unfolds in the next one now that Dorian is under his fathers control, and I'm hoping that Manon has a happy ending. I really liked her! I'm hoping she'll switch sides and help Celeana. I LOVED this book! It was like I was there with Celeana the entire time, and what a magical time it was!
