I am recommding this one, because I am currently reading the Giver right now, this is the follow up book to the series.

'Eleanor and Park' isn't dystopian. It's contemporary, historical fiction a bit too.

Oh! I thought you read it. I mean...I read the ones I nominated. They were pretty good for me, so I thought I might spread the word type thing.
