Combine editions (maybe wrong isbn)

I added the right cover and details, but I can not combine the one I created with the one that has the same isbn. I'm not quite sure if two books can have the same isbn or not, but the Northanger Abbey with isbn13: 9781435137721, is the edition from barnes&noble.

Also, I think that the one with that isbn is not the one from that publisher (besides is does not have a cover uploaded at all).

Publishers reuse ISBNs all the time when they reissue books with a different cover. It is likely that the B&N edition shares the same ISBN as the coverless-Sterling edition here on Goodreads. I've combined the books and placed a note in the B&N-edition description that it is an alternate cover edition of ISBN 9781435137721.

Please be aware that only Goodreads librarians can combine books together (if they were created using the 'manually add a book' button rather than the 'add a new edition' button), hence your inability to do so.

I understand... Thanks a lot! But still, when you search with that specific ISBN, only the Sterling edition gets listed. Can all the books with the same isbn get listed when you search by isbn?

unfortunately no, that's a limitation of Goodreads's database. :(

It's okay as long as it is searchable. But I hope they can "fix" this soon.
