Tutor Dawn by David Field
The King's Commoner: The rise and fall of Cardinal Wolsey by David Field
Tudor Dawn: Henry Tudor is ready to take the crown..., Dori? (I want to note that this book seems to be Kindle only, as I don't see any other editions listed.)Also King's Commoner seems to be Book 2 in the series.
Lois wrote: "I’ll go with Young Bess and The Queen's Bed: An Intimate History of Elizabeth's Court."Good books but unfortunately they do not mention Lady Troy who brought up Elizabeth and Edward VI, or Blanche Parry Elizabeth's confidante for 56 years.

As the Bacton Altar Cloth goes on exhibition at Hampton Court Palace, London, on 12 October 2019 (until February 2020) may I humbly suggest my book 'Mistress Blanche Queen Elizabeth I's Confidante' 2018 edition. This has a new chapter describing the newly discovered portrait of Queen Elizabeth (in USA) and the story of the unique and priceless Bacton Altar Cloth. This 'Cloth is the only surviving material from Queen Elizabeth's dresses (and she had 1,900 when she died), Available from Logaston Press: info@firconebooks.com for £12.95 + postage.
I continue to recommend

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.
Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.
Two nominations to a person, please.
