She smiled sweetly. "Thank you. I really mean it. Thank you for everything."
He smiled back, "No problem, Erm, do you want me to save their house? I turned eighteen a few months ago. I am a liable home owner. I can buy the house."
She blinked in confusion. "Y-you wanna buy my house?" Her voice squeaked.
"And give it to you." He said with a nod.
"Yeah. I would real like that." She smiled.
He smiled, "I'll make an offer." He said softly and smiled, 'She has a really nice smile. She looks so mature with it.' He thought to himself
"What offer?" She raised an eyebrow.
He chuckled, "To buy the house. I guess nobody explained any of that huh?" He sighed remembering his own loss of his mother, and then of his abusive father and shuddered, "Nobody told me."
She shook her head, cheeks pink. "Oh yeah, duh. Sorry, my mind must be elsewhere." She blushed, curling a piece of hair behind her ear.
He smiled, "It's alright, your going through a lot right now, Your mind is probably going to do that for a while
She nodded and looked around her room once more. "Shall we go?"
"I want to." She nodded more fiercely.
He was taken aback slightly but nodded and gulped, "Alright." He said and lead her out.
She walked him slowly, trying hard not to look at her parents room down the hall.
He lead her out of the house to his truck and helped her in,
She stepped in and settled into the seat. "Thank you."
He shook his head, "It's nothing." He said, jumping into the drivers sear
She set her arm on the window and pillowed her head on her arm, closing her eyes.
He frowned, "Sorry, it's an old habit." He said softly, remembering the belt hitting him and winced, then shook his head.
"I don't mind." She said, sighing herself.
He nodded and let out a silent sigh with a slight blush
She fell asleep against the window.
She still slept, breathing softly and evenly.
He looked over at her curiously and got out closing the car door softly, then walked around and took out the wheelchair from the back of the truck,
She mumbled when she heard a door slam, waking up slowly.
She sat up straighter and rubbed her eyes, then blinked the sleep away, smiling shyly at him through the window.
He sighed and felt bad for waking her, he opened the door slowly, "Sorry." He said softly,
"It's okay." She said honestly, turning in the seat to step out.
He took her hand and helped her out into the wheel chair, "You alright?@
She sat down into the chair with a grunt. "Yeah, I'm okay."
He looked down at her curiously as he shut the door, "alright,"
She sighed and shoved her hands into her sweater pockets.
He pushed the wheel chair into his house and pushed it into the living room.
"I like your place." She said, peering around.
He smiled, "Thanks. Not many people come over, so sorry if it's a little messy." He said and kicked a pair of shoes under the couch.
"No worries." She laughed a little.
She braced her hands on the arms of the chair and pushed herself up into a standing position.
He put in arm around her waist to support her,
She blushed and held on to him, looking up at him.
He smiled and lead her to the stairs, "Think you can make it? Or do you want me to carry you?"
"I'll try. But be prepared to catch me." She said, holding onto the banister and stepping up the first step gently.
He lifted her waist slightly, easing the weight down slowly. He looked at her for any sign of pain.
She gritted her teeth a little, but wasn't specifically in pain, just tender. She shakily walked up the next step.
