"I was going to help pay" she said quietly
"no I didn't want you to pay"
"Okay" she said
He gets upand walsk her to the car
She gets up and follows him
She got in the passengers seat
He drivers to her house. He go a message from his brother that he needs to come home at night because his daughter was sick, and no one could help her because her mom died when his daughter was 2 and his daughter is7
When she gets home she goes and changes into something more comfortable
"Will you see me before you leave tomorrow?" She asked him
He says" I have to leave tonight um my daughter is sick"
"You have a daughter?" She asked him in shock
he says' I was 18 and didn't know what I was doing with my girlfriend and when she got pregnant I was happy and when my daughter Lucie turned 2 her mom died from cancer she is now 7"
"Max I'm so sorry" she said as she pulled him into a hug "Where's Lucie now?" She asked him
He hugged her back"with my brother"
"Do you maybe want me to come with you?" She asked him uncertainly
he says" you will come to new York with me?"
"If you want me to"
"How long are you staying?"
"Will you wait for me to go and pack?" She asked him
"I'll be back" she said as she went upstairs and got her suitcase and started to put some of her clothes inside of it
She empties most of her drawers into two suitcases and wheels them down the stairs
He helps her put them in the car
"Thanks" she says to him when all her suitcases are in the car
She gets in the car
