Southern Fantasy/horror?! Yes please! As a big fan ofsouthern writers, I am very much looking forward to reading this (though I won't be able to until after a paper on Warren is finished, argh)
Never heard of it but will give it a try. That said, the horror thing usually isn't for me, so I'm not sure how it will go...but this is why I joined this club, for broadening my horizons...
Just FYI, the book is part of Kindle Unlimited so can be borrowed under that program, or it's $5.59 for those not part of KU.
We'll be discussing this on the show tomorrow, so any last minute thoughts, get them in! Thanks all.

This is the first of six threads to discuss books on the show nominated by Kickstarter backers!
Our first nomination comes from Jonathan Strickland. We specified in the Kickstarter description that we didn't want you to nominate your own books or your Mom books. So Jon took that literally and nominated his Dad's. The good news is, his Dad is a legit published author and totally worth looking into. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Str...
Jonathan nominated his recent book ShadowShow. Here's what he said:
"I would like you to pick a book my mom totally didn't write. My dad did. That book is ShadowShow, which technically is dark fantasy/horror (maybe leaning more toward the horror side) but it's available in electronic book format. It's my favorite of his books and I feel it really captures the area of Georgia where he (and I) grew up. So for a little more insight into your beloved bald buddy, check it out!"
So have any of you read it? Any of you planning to read it? Let us know what you think.
