Beth Stewart | 644 comments Overall, I enjoyed this book. I did find the number of characters introduced was a bit confusing and it took me 1/2 way through to sort out who was who. I thought the book could have done without the inclusion of the Abercorn and his special team.

I thought the character descriptions for both Catherine and Ingrams/Fallan were well done but I found Jasmine rather insipid.

I did not see the end element of surprise coming although in retrospect should have put the story together when Jasmine recounted her mother's confession of living the wild life.

Brian Kirk | 24 comments I couldn't get into the book, I found it to be a little hard to follow at some times. I wanted to like it but all and all I only gave it three stars.

Beth Stewart | 644 comments Brian, I think the difficulty with this book is that many characters are introduced without fleshing them out.. Hence, the reader has trouble getting into the story because there are so many people that one can't fit into place

Brian Kirk | 24 comments Agreed. I found that the Zig Zag Girl was similar in that it had a lot of characters but in Zig Zag Girl the author did a better job of introducing the characters.

Beth Stewart | 644 comments I agree, Brian! I remember thinking I should write notes as to who is who!!!
