I would hope so since I haven't got around to reading Mirror Sight thanks to so many bad reviews... But I will, eventually, and then: Number 6! :D
Book five I thought was great! Though my dad did not care for it. It kind of had a steam-punk feel to it to me. I enjoyed it cause I felt the author was flexing her story telling skills, something new. I would give book five a chance... ^_^
The thing is: I actually like the idea for book five (I've read a little about it). It just bugged me a little that it seems to leave out so many of the other storylines and just focuses on Karigan more or less. But maybe that's not altogether true. I will definitely try it one day, I mean I absolutely love this series!! :D I really think it's one of the best fantasy series out there - just really well thought-out.
I get what you are saying, though she is not in the world completely alone, there are two others (well, three actually) there in the time and place with her....I liked it though cause it felt allot like the first book, just with a different dimension. ^_^
Mirror sight was like a one shot in the comics. i really enjoyed it but looking forward to getting back to the main story. I also don't understand why people rate this before its even written.
Rick wrote: "Book 5 was such a huge disappointment in an otherwise great series. I thought maybe Ms. Britain had fallen and taken a nasty jolt to the head right before starting this novel. Or, maybe she went on..."I completely agree! Mirror Sight was a disaster that broke my heart because Green Rider may not be the best-written series ever, but it is still one of my favorites. It felt like KB was doing a creative writing exercise where you take your characters from one story and plug them into a totally different one to see how they function. Did it all ultimately relate to the main story line? Yes, it did. It was just so poorly done and almost all the choices KB made in Mirror Sight were weak, haphazard, or felt like randomness meant to shake up the story. The melodrama was cheap and that little moment with "the potential" that was snuffed out ... ugh!! I liked the way the story was being told up through Blackveil, and would just love to ignore Mirror Sight ever happened.
