I'm never going to start a fantasy book again... This one was qiute bad.... it's alomost put me off the fantasy genre....

must admit, that i found thee same thing with this book. after the hype it got for being "the african LoTR" it fell at the first hurdle.

Avoid the Audible version. The readers accent was so heavy, I had to fight to comprehend him. I live overseas and am used to being linguistically challenged, but this was in my own language.

It was bad enough that I returned the book. A little accent helps a story. Thick, syrupy accents, deter a listener. Perhaps the written version would be an improvement.
