Can I make my own Series?

Hi, can I make my own series?

I have tried, but whenever I click on the link below (in the brackets), within my edit book page, all it does is go to my Recent Updates page - which is frustrating. I was expecting to see a field to name the series etc, but that doesn't work for me.

series (add new series)

Is this something only a librarian can do?

To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc. What makes this a series?
