message 86: by L.A. (new)

L.A. Kent | 3925 comments Smoke it first thing, fresh off the smoker with poached eggs for breakfast, later for lunch in kedgeree, with curry sauce.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Interesting thing. You'd never find kedgeree in an Indian restaurant in India. Not a 'proper' one, anyway.

Kedgeree is a very British creation, I believe.

message 88: by L.A. (new)

L.A. Kent | 3925 comments I suspect you're right. Also I'm told it isn't eaten with curry sauce. I just know i love freshly home smoked Haddock, and Louise makes a terrific sauce to go with the Kedgeree, otherwise I think it's unnecessarily dry!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Back on topic!

You've been given an unlimited supply of curry sauce!
