ABANDONED. book title

It is a book that is about a group of kids who are together every summer (maybe cousins?). The protagonist is reaching out to the others and no one will respond. The summers are described in flashback and at the end it becomes clear why there is no response. There was a horrendous tragedy the last summer, and the protagonist was either never told or does not remember due to the trauma. Awesome book -- driving me nuts!!
