Oh, that trilogy has been on my list for a long time! Hmm, I may have to re-prioritize my reading queue.
I've started Daughter of Smoke & Bone this weekend and I'm completely in love. I will be attending this event for sure now!
That is too bad. :( I hope your little one gets better soon! Do you want us to get a book for you?

Thanks, he's not so bad just bad enough that I'd feel guilty leaving him with a babysitter. And thank you for the offer, but it's ok.
Also, it only posted half of my comment last time. I also said 'I hope it's fun and I can't wait to hear all about it!'. Something weird must be going on if it messed up both our comments. :-/

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope he feels well soon! These weather changes are giving everyone colds, it seems like.

Laini Taylor, author of the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy, will be at the McConnell Arts Center in Worthington for a reading on October 9th.
I've always had my eye on these books, but now I'm wishing I'd read them! I may still go if I don't have time to fit them in before then.
