Conscious Decisions of the Heart 5 stars This a rough series, the MCs both have dubious, sometimes no morals. I love it. It is my favorite new series this year. I've bought book 3 and was happy to read that a book4 is planned as well.

Mark Cooper versus America I'm stumped. I don't know how to rate it fairly. Many people LOVE this book; I hated it from start to finish. It was 200+ pages of first person POV pity party. I though the MC was a whining brat, ungrateful, extremely self-centered, mean to his family, weak,...I really hated him. His redeeming quality was that he did treat his boyfriend well, nonetheless he was such a shit I wanted the other MC to find someone else. I also didn't like reading about the frat & pledging. I had no respect for any of the members of that frat.

Sooo...I really disliked the book. However, it was written well...maybe I'll just leave it unrated.

As always, the blame is strictly on me for putting it on my shelf in the first place! The thing is, I knew I wouldn't like it, yet I let myself get sucked in by the numerous glowing reviews.
