woo! *high 5's swati*. at my school, we're actually called 8-balls, and the 7th graders are sevies, and then the 6th graders are just 6th graders, unless we're buds with one of them, then that perosn is our '6th grade buddy' and thats how we talk about them

ex. "My 6th grade buddy and I are on the same team"
or if you have multiple 6th grade buddies "*insert name here*, my 6th grade buddy, and I are on the same team."
