I read a short book about a daughter who was visiting with her mother. She didn't understand why her mother kept a tea cup that was cracked/had a chip in it. The mother then proceeds to tell her daughter a detailed story about life and what it was really about and keeping the crackedchipped tea cup was the center of the story.
