SOLVED. Need help. Looking for a book that has a Blue Skinned Man with a living Tattoo that draws whatever path the man takes. [s]

Hello everyone.

I need help. I read this book in 1991. I borrowed it from a friend and I loved it alot.

Plot

It basically was about an author living in a big city, London... New York... I am not certain. One evening, a man came and asked him if he was the writer. This guy was tall, muscular, atypical warrior, who has blue skin. And on his skin is a living tattoo because it write/draw symbols and map from his world to this world.

The warrior was looking for him because he wants the writer to help him and his people to close the rift between their world. And the fact the writer actually wrote stories about the warrior's world in great and exact? details.

The warrior brought him to his world and at the same time, another group determined to find this rift, to break out and overtake this world. They even managed to kidnapped the warrior and tried or maybe they did successfully, to remove his skin.

If anyone can help me find out the writer and the name of the book, I would be utterly pleased. Thanks.
