Hi. I'm new to the group, but have been around Goodreads for awhile. I discovered this group through discussions in The Next Best Book Club.

I just want to say that I am very glad this group is here. I have two children that will be young adults themselves in a few more years, but that doesn't stop me from reading books targeted more for them than for me! In other discussion groups on the web, I always got baffled responses from people when I told them I read a book that was for Young Adults, e.g. "What could you possibly enjoy about a book written for thirteen year olds?"

I guess they'll never know what they're missing...
