Walden or, Life in the Woods question

I love to read books - the real thing...in my hand...turning real pages. I've been forced to use the electronic reader more and more because the font size in newly published books is so tiny it is simply unreadable and very uncomfortable to even try.
I love to buy old books-- good reads and readable in print form. However, reprints are now tiny font too. I've now bought two used copies of Walden by Thoreau only to find they are reprints.
I certainly know the argument of fine print, less paper, but I wonder if the transition to electronic is really more profitable and does it encourage readership? A silly question I'm $$$ure!
