For your regular picks for next month, I went with Luke - The Callahan Brothers (Brazos Bend #1) by Emily March and Lush (Delicious, #3) by Lauren Dane . As for the bonus pick, we apparently have a ton of books in common, but I think the best one is probably Jewels of the Sun (Gallaghers of Ardmore, #1) by Nora Roberts , or at least the trilogy. Love love loved it, and hopefully you will too. Enjoy. ^_^

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Hi Ezinwanyi, I think I'm supposed to pick for you. It says Jenne but I think that's me... if not, just let me know :)

I pick for you:
Boyfriend Bargain (Hawthorne University, #1) by Ilsa Madden-Mills & Long Shot (Hoops #1) by Kennedy Ryan
Both look like great summer reads with some steamy boys! For the bonus, I pick:
Verity by Colleen Hoover
Because everyone needs to experience this book

Enjoy!

Thank you, Theo. You know this is the second time that Daughter of Smoke and Bone is recommended to me. 😀 I really need to pick it up.

Deedee | 189 comments I seem to be running a month behind. I finished Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus which was picked for me in July. I liked the first 70-80% then it became unlikely and syrupy. Still glad I read it as I have had the paperback lying around the house since the 1990s.

I haven't had much luck with this month's picks. The 42nd Parallel is too challenging a read when it is 100 degrees outside; The False Prince too predictable. I'll give my 3rd (Midnight's Children) a try later this month. Like Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus, it has been sitting around here for over a decade, and the copy I have literally had dust on it.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 2364 comments VampAmber, thanks for the great picks. Finished both Luke (Callahan Brothers, #1; Brazos Bend, #1) by Emily March and Lush (Delicious, #3) by Lauren Dane . Loved them both!

I finished bookcover:The Turn of the Key|40489648] and really liked it. I did not see the twists coming. Ruth bounced back from The Lying Game by Ruth Ware which I really did not care for.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1919 comments Finished The Secrets in My Scowl and it was okay for me. Most my GR friends loved it but I just wasn't crazy about the MC.

Just started The Blacksmith Queen but so far I really like it.
