Oh my goodness I can't believe our Bay is in 10th grade, and I am looking forward to meeting Mariah!
Any chance you could post this in a larger font or a larger page? It's very difficult to read. When I use the magnifying glass to enlarge, I lose half the page. So, I must go in and out, in and out. I'll try to read it again later if changes are made. Now I feel old. (42)

Oh, this was soooo good. It almost makes me wish I hadn't read it because now I can hardly wait for January! Time to go back and re-read Sarah's books. I think I'll save Garden Spells for last - that way, it will be closer to publication day!
"A cobbler crust of brown sugar and cinnamon".....oh my, I can't wait! Also love the part about hanging on the phone not saying anything....I've done that with my best friend many times. :)
and so life begins again with our favorite Waverlys ... bless you for bringing them back!! This will be the perfect way to start my retirement ... a cup of tea, sweet dark chocolate somethings and your next book. I just can't wait !!
Absolutely LOVED this :D Thank you so much for the sneak peek! It is going to be pure torture waiting until January :D

Hope this helps! :)
Cover design is really classy. And for those of us who have read "Garden Spells" the apple is more than just a symbol of autumn and the first frost!
First, let me say that I love her books; Garden Spells being my absolute favorite and The Sugar Queen being a close second choice. So, no one get grouchy about my opinion of the First Frost cover. Well, it's not exactly what I had expected. I do see the Garden Spells tie in with the frosted apple and apple blossoms, but the cover isn't inspired. It's simple, but maybe a little too plain and simple? If you're unfamiliar with her books, it wouldn't catch your eye. Maybe if the deck/porch was frosted over and an apple had rolled across it leaving a path in the frost (implying the tree had thrown it to her Garden Spells fans). Or possibly it had rolled across a frozen patch in the garden or the frozen pathway leading to the house's back door. It's just missing an element of interest...at least for me. But it I'm still anticipating the book in January!! January 20th to be exact!!!
