Where Courage Calls

This is not as good as the original Canadian West series. Fact found it dull and slow until halfway through the book. Again a little to much religion for me but I did not pick it up because of that. I picked it up because of the Hallmark show When Calls The Heart that loosely follows the book. I did find it enjoyable once it picked up and then could not put it down. That be why it has 4 stars. Before that I seriously was considering giving it 3 stars. I did love the character of Edward and how he changed along with Elizabeth. Also I love Jarrick and wished we saw more of him in the book. The story of it was brilliant but the one thing I did not like was the narration. To much Narrative and in that case, I would have then loved it in the 1st person and not the 3rd so we could hear more what Elizabeth was thinking. Would I read the rest of the Return to The Canadian West series? At this time I do not know myself as it took me so long to find motivation to finish this book.
