Never read this author before. I see he's written under the Robert B. Parker brand, but I steer around branded fiction.
What a find! What a rare talent! I've lived in or near NYC most of my life. Coleman has all the dialects, lingo, and characters down cold. One of the rare genre writers who transcends the stock, intermixable characters of the trade. I'm waiting for more. Might even read his Parker stuff.
