I looked at the source file you referenced. While the image on the page is different, if you click on it, it shows the image that is currently on GR.

Yes, but the image is the cover for the Kindle Edition which is different from the physical TPB cover (the image i am asking to be added).

The cover should not be replaced, but an alternate cover edition may be added. See https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/....

Any idea when they started using the newer cover?

The most reliable info I could find is on this ad on Ebay:
Prophet, Vol. 1: Remission

According to this ad the cover I have submitted (the amazon one) is from the 4th print of the Vol. 1 TPB which was released in 2014 while the original was released in 2012.
