I finished the book last night. But I don't want to spoil anything for anyone else. So I will just say it was most enjoyable.

I really like the Admiral and Mrs. Croft! They're so cute. In contrast to all the disfunctional relationships in this book, they're devoted to one another and obviously enjoy being in each other's company. And I liked Austen's use of the carriage as an analogy for their marriage - they drive it together and despite the danger of their toppling over, they stick it out and keep going. As Captain Wentworth remarks, "my sister makes nothing of it; she would as lieve be tossed out as not."
I got behind during Christmas and am trying to catch up with my reading.I am enjoying the book and Crofts are nice people.Anne's family on the other hand are not the best people to get along with.Pam
