Jerry (capvideo) | 134 comments Paul Nagin and Henry F. Ledgard’s BASIC with style is missing a cover; it’s a classic cover of the era!

Iit is also listed as a hardcover; the copy I have is a softcover, and the copies on Amazon and AbeBooks also appear to be softcovers. No hardcover is listed in the indicia.

I do not see a copy on Archive.org.

I’ve also uploaded scans of the cover page, back page, and indicia from my copy.

Goodread’s entry for this book is also missing a description; here is a suggestion, culled from the back cover:

BASIC WITH STYLE is intended for BASIC programmers who want to write carefully constructed, readable programs. It offers short rules and guidelines for writing more accurate, error-free programs. These simple elements of style enable the programmer to focus creativity on the deeper issues in programming.

Among the topics discussed is the over concern with microefficiency. A special chapter shows you how to use the top-down approach with BASIC. The guide introduces superior methods of program design and construction in BASIC.

Thank you!
