August 9th is National Book Lovers Day...so read a book that you think you would really like or reread one that you always loved.

Sorry, Carol ... since your theme was the chosen theme for July, you are not eligible to nominate a theme for August. But you WILL be able to vote ....
Many areas it is back to school in August. Anything to do with school, on the cover(example, bus, school desk, school building etc.) , set in a school or character works at a school.
International Beer Day is August 2nd. So how about a book with an alcoholic beverage on the cover (doesn't have to be beer).
August 21st is Senior Citizen Day. Read a book with main character a Senior Citizen.
This year is the hottest on record. August is the hottest month. Read a book with the word hot or heat in the title.

To encourage participation from more members, the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, CAROL, you will *not* be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).
