Darkness

I thought that this book was great. Just from the cover of the book made it look like it was going to be a dark scary story. I thought it had a a great storyline and the whole book theme went along with it. The way Tony Diterlizzi was able to put his artwork into this book to make it go along with the story was unbelievable. This story was more of a symmetrical interactions because of the way it came about. The words and pictures had the same meaning where they tell the same story.

The illustrator used black colors which showed the darks side of the story. He uses fonts that replicate scary words and how he uses web designs to write his texts. That is what caught my eyes in this story. The shapes and patterns were repeated throughout this book and he had very basic shapes.
